Low prize fund I guess is a bit irrelevant when those precious points are on offer.

You have got to think some of the top players in the BDO get fed up with all the travelling? Saying that Deta (and Paul ) seem to enjoy visiting the different places and living for 'darts at the weekend'.

Or become chairman of the BDO and use their resources to actively advertise products you have a financial interest for gain in

See elsewhere been mentioned that Michael Unterbuchner not playing in his own countries open , citing can’t be arsed with the tour , shite prize money etc etc .
Michi is sponsored by One80 darts and Lstyle , imagine if your sponsors want to send you to Vegas all expenses paid for a darts event and the chance to pick up some prizemoney , throw in your girlfriends Airfare etc must have been a hard choice for him in a healthy position in the table as well ! What a hard decision that must have been

Paul 'I read but don't post on here' James

There is a soft tip organization in Germany hosting many local leagues and a big national team competition. Apparently Unterbuchner's team won it so they can play an event in Las Vegas with all expenses paid by that organization.
