Any different to an event in Scotland that includes England and Wales?

To give a serious answer, I would imaging the British subdivisions of England/Wales/Scotland/NI are recognised internationally. How much of the international community recognise "Catalonia"?

If it's alright with the Spanish Darts Federation, who are we to argue?

Doubt they have the choice. Darts federations are toothless, as demonstrated with the WDF unable to stop a renegade Home Nations event occuring whilst their own World Cup was on.

Certainly not the EU and the UN who totally ignored Spain usurping the democratically elected Catalan government.

I suppose it comes down to international sport recognition, Gibraltar is a British protectorate under UK administration for foreign policy and affairs so not a country as such, I know Catalonia has a rugby team that has played international games, San Marino, Faroe Islands are also autonomous nations under the control of another.

Bomber you may wish to pick up a geography book chap, firstly England is part of the United Kingdom which is it's legal international name, secondly Gibraltar is not a part of England or the United Kingdom for that matter.

Isn't this in the same category as Jersey and Isle of Man? That aren't accepted countries either, but they play the WDF Europe Cup.

Well the BDO has recognised counties which for years have ceased to exist so why does it matter ?
