Yes but I suppose he is not the only sufferer.

Just needs one to open the floodgates, as it were.

Is there nothing you want to tell us, mate? You know it's OK not to be OK. Some could say pretending to be a "simple Irish farmer" for years is a cry for help.....

Thanks for your concern, it means a lot to me.

Nowadays everyone is either mental, had learning difficulties, been abused or been offended. People must have some excuse for being a failure...

Whole of mankind is a failure, we're realising it one by one.

It's the victim mentality everyone is being told they must have, anyone else noticed that anyone who uses #metoo and the like are now called 'survivors'

The use of survivor is to try to help avoid victim mentality and victim blaming by not using the word victim.

As with everybody else, darts players can have mental health problems. It should be obvious given that there's someone with Type 2 bipolar in the top 10.

The big concern is obviously depression. Something the PDPA can help with. I'd hope that by now people are more educated and more willing to seek out help, but in a competitive arena, people might be concerned about discussing negative thoughts as weakness. I know someone who suffers from depression. It's not something to be taken lightly.

Explain to me how someone touched up by Harvey Weinstein can be a 'survivor' when nobody died?

Crying out loud Nick, are you saying people who are classed as "survivors" of domestic abuse shouldnt be called that either? Typical big butch bloke syndrome you have, its OK not to be OK you know.

I know it's OK not to be OK but playing into this victim/survivor mentality is turning everyone into #victims
I still would like you to explain how someone who was a victim of a crime that never involded death can be a survivor.

Survivor: a person who survives, especially a person remaining alive after an event in which others have died.
"he was the sole survivor of the massacre"

If you're classing a survivor as anyone who's ever had a bad experience then congratulations we are all survivors.

"Nobody who walked away from this plane crash can be called a "survivor" because nobody died in it"

But the definition already allows for people to survive a life threatening event or condition, i.e. 'he survived cancer', survived a plane crash and I have no issue in that at all.

Please explain to me how someone 'survived' being touched up by Harvey Weinstein?
