Surely the same would apply in UK. No large gatherings particularly in places like the large arenas the PL use.

The PDC will either have to make it behind closed doors, so you use smaller cheaper venues. Just need a room somewhere,or cancel it totally.

Will not be July 30th. PL should just run on 1 night with the top 4 behind close doors on a later date, Not ideal but it gets it finished and they can move on to the other events.

Surprised the resumption of the PL hasn't been called off yet.

May have got the wrong end of the stick here but seen something on Twitter about the Dutch going back on the no crowds decisions. May be a crowd in for the 2 PL dates?

Revoking of the no crowds decision is only for event that require no permit. The question is whether governement permission is requirement for the event to go ahead. If not, it might go ahead, if nothing serious happens in the mean time. And a 1,5 meter distance between every attendee is still required.

Surely if attendees are from the same household they dont have to sit apart.

Yes. Was specifically asked in the press conference yesterday.

Well looks like the PL nights aren’t there any longer.

Two questions on this, firstly why have 6 consecutive nights behind closed doors at the same venue?? Isn’t this diluting the product somewhat?

Secondly, do they really think there’ll be a crowd in the other nights not at MK??

That's three questions :)
But to the last two
Yes Massively but a feast of darts for a week.

Q3 They can't know. And probably not in the old way. Maybe a civilised seated crowd. But I doubt it.

Well perhaps but I don’t think many will have an interest in watching the same 10/8 players playing each other for 6 consecutive nights, they don’t weekly over 5 months! Especially behind closed doors.

Given other events in the world (sporting or otherwise) been cancelled for months or will be running without a crowd then it’s very unlikely even if they can play at the proposed venues.

I agree with this. There will be very little interest in watching this, sure I have every little interest watching the regular Premier League never mind 6 nights in a row behind closed doors.

I suppose they need to get it played though and this is the easiest way of doing it.

Whilst still on the calendar, no chance in hell that the Glasgow night will take place with a crowd at the Hydro.

Final four nights have been cancelled. Will be played MK 3-6 Sep. With an option of 2nd Sept to allow play offs to be played 6th if 22nd Oct O2 can't go ahead.

Great 1st match so far. Both Ando and Smith playing really well. Gary averaging 112 over the first 5 legs.
