See Leighton Bennett won the DartsPlanetTV tournament today beating Nathan Derry 5-0 in the final.
Also hit a nine darter in the earlier rounds. What a talent this 13 year old is.

Here's the view from the Riley's cameras on the board for Bennett's 9 -darter.
Obviously helped by the colossal segments on a Blade 5.

13yr old Leighton Bennett hits 9 dart finish, also heard he didn't drop a leg all day.
No matter what board it was it was a fabulous achievement. Shame he comes across as a cock.

Probably gets it off his father. Seen the video of his dad at the Open event last year?

I think Bennet could cause a stunt and win lakeside.

Whilst there is no denying the young lads talent for throwing a dart, his ridiculous over celebrating will do him no favours.
Makes him look a right muppet if truth be told. Iron that out and he will be worth watching.

Personality makes a player and if you don't like it then you don't like darts...
Or something.

Having called a game of his at county I can confirm the celebrations make Gerwyn Price look like trappist monk.
Two bad darts followed by a T19 is apparently cause for fist pumping and shouting. The father was not present as far as I could tell but I expect that's where he learned to be annoying and borderline obnoxious.
Whereas his Lincs teammate Callum Wilson banged in 101 average coolly and calmly and in another tremendous prospect without any edge to him at all.

I have every confidence that spending time with the great and the good of Lincolnshire darts will soon beat that out of him.

I just don't get all the shouting and bellowing - it's like women tennis players screaming at the simplest ground stroke.
Frankly, it's gamesmanship and all it makes me want to see is the player doing it get an absolute pasting (on the board if that wasn't clear)
