Webster poured the water all over his case at the start of the game and I think it wound him up then in the interview post game he suggested Webster had done it on purpose

All a bunch of nothing really

The real Gary Anderson turned up tonight, but in fairness, there were reasons for his poor performance last week.

Of course. The suggestion that he wouldn't turn up for the slam was ridiculous.

One other observation on Laura Turner is that she has made a real effort to research the history of the GSOD and comes across as very knowledgeable.

How come Mitchell and Waites didn't make the BDO superstar squad?

Mitchell is too low in the BDO OOM same as Waites.
They have changed the de facto old rule of both male Lakeside finalists to the men’s and women’s winners hence counting out Waites again.

Would the BDO been better off sending a mix of Adams Fitton OShea Waites Mitchell even Monty or Robson rather than the 5 washout? Don't know criteria but if they are going to sell tickets for their Worlds the few known players need tv exposure. The 2 ladies have shown more balls so far

Asked Eddie Hearn and he thought this response appropriate.

Have all 8 BDO players lost their first game before.

Really cant see any of them getting through.

They should have picked players used to a big stage environment.

For me both Waites and Mitchell would have had a better chance of doing well. That being said, you can't judge the BDO players too harshly, based on them playing the Top 8 PDC players. Pretty sure they will do better in their next 2 matches, but they need to up their averages into the mid 90's.
