Surely with all the discretion the PDC has, they'll crowbar Box Office Duzza in there? Maybe Yozza too and reduce ther spots from

They may well do, but given this is a ranked event, to start arsing about with the qualification criteria now would be a bit naughty.DavidOwen67 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 12:44 am Surely with all the discretion the PDC has, they'll crowbar Box Office Duzza in there? Annoying that 8 qualifiers come through this event and Euro tour winner(s) will be at home watching

I don't know, but I'm sure it must be Sue's fault.oche balboa wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 9:22 am Why hasnt the Criteria for the BDO players been sorted yet?

1 Euro Tour winner (Hughes) unless he comes through the qualifiers. The rest are all qualified so far.
I find it more annoying that runners up of exhibitions, youth and the World Cup get to qualify.

Hearn has made it clear he wants the 3 world champions in. maybe the board are struggling with this? he has given them the decision as to who they pick but obviously has put a bit of pressure on them when he said he would be extremely disappointed in those 3 were not chosen. So the board don't want to pick the 3 (especially Durrant) but want to keep things good with Barry hearn.oche balboa wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 9:22 am Why hasnt the Criteria for the BDO players been sorted yet?
Just a thought.

One euro event as it stands yes but I feel more tv winners or runners up could qualify pushing Mensur and Chisnall out also1205 wrote:1 Euro Tour winner (Hughes) unless he comes through the qualifiers. The rest are all qualified so far.

The top 10 plus Aspinall are all already in higher qualifying positions.MDA wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 3:28 pmOne euro event as it stands yes but I feel more tv winners or runners up could qualify pushing Mensur and Chisnall out also1205 wrote:1 Euro Tour winner (Hughes) unless he comes through the qualifiers. The others "higher" qualifiers are:
Van den Bergh - winner World Youth
Schindler - runner-up World Youth
O'Connor - runner-up World Cup
Lennon - runner-up World Cup
Not many players outside the top ones looking like they could make a TV final.
Re: PDC Grand Slam of Darts- 9th-17th November 2019- Wolverhampton
That’s the problem. Supposedly Hearn gave the BDO a free choice in their 8 places so removing the old requirement the Lakeside WC must be one of their picks, but the BDO almost certainly don’t want the give one of their 8 places to Durrant and almost certainly the BDO Board only want to reward their male players. When Bunting qualified the Lakeside WC was a defined place so the BDO couldn’t object.devosteve wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 1:45 pmHearn has made it clear he wants the 3 world champions in. maybe the board are struggling with this? he has given them the decision as to who they pick but obviously has put a bit of pressure on them when he said he would be extremely disappointed in those 3 were not chosen. I guess Hearn can change to the BDO Men and Women WCs plus 6 picks at discretion of BDO. It’s a PDC invite so they can change the rules.

The event a matter of weeks away and players don't even know if they're playing. Imagine the seethin' from you lot if the boot was on the other foot.
