I'm going to go out on a limb here but I will predict that sometime in the course of Des's month long holiday he quits the BDO post or very shortly after he returns

Surprised he hasnt already. Will hate not having control of anything all because of a contract signed by the previous lot.

If Des steps down it proves that the BDO can't be helped. I pity the poor person who would replace him.

Maybe they would finally get somebody competent. He should certainly go as he is out of his depth.

If/when Des goes I think they need someone who isn't blinded by the past. Maybe an outsider who looks at the whole set up and is brutally honest about what is achievable.

A die hard will mostly look at the past and try to recreate it looking through rose tinted glasses. I still believe if the BDO was ran correctly it can recover.

I dont go for the PDC is to dominant, rugby has 2 successful codes, football to an extent with the CL and Europa leagues yet domestic leagues still thrive.
