And also in that statement he said he had new events in new venues with sponsors. I guess one of these will replace this.

How is this news going to impact the morale within the BDO leadership and with the players? A minor or major issue?

perhaps Des could put down his San Miguel for one minute and tell everyone which, if any of his promises he has actually kept?

You mean the prize fund that hadnt increased a single cent since 2003(?)

Even Lakeside and the Masters had put theirs up since (can ignore the WDT, as the fund for that has gone up and down like a whores knickers)

The deflector/Jacklin lapdog is out in front of the complaining already blaming the promoter for the finders being cancelled, saying it had nothing to do with the BDO.

But forgetting the time Des stepped in to save the Vizacaya open at the last moment.

Maybe finders promoter should had given Paula Jacklin a wildcard and the BDO would have paid for the finders to go ahead

Fair point. Surely this event is more important than the Vizcaya, it was on television. Why is it not being "saved"?

It has everything to do with the BDO. If it was thriving the the 'Finders' would get a sponsor no problem. Its no coincidence it has gone this year.
It really is going to pot this year for the BDO.
