I'm particularly looking forward to him closing this place down in all fairness.
Like he did with df?
How much did he pay you?

Not on a wider scale they are not

Gladiator III One80 board is £39.95 + (£6.95pp) = £46.90 from the ONLY place you can get one in the UK

Winmau Blade 5 from argos you can pick up in the high street any day you want one is £31.99

Unicorn Eclipse HD2 Pro can buy one delivered from Amazon for £45.00 (Although this is irrelevant as the counties and the BDO have never used these boards and possibly never will)

How do prices compare where you can buy them from more than one retailer ?

How many boards does a County use in a year ?
£30 a pop apparently.

Have just spoken to Martin Kleermaker .None of the words reported are his.He never spoke to that reporter. He is totally devarstated that he has been used in this way.He now is asking for the whole Interview to be retracted and will put his own unedited statement out to refute it completely. From the horses mouth. Des is aware but will not comment saying it`s up to people to make there own minds up."

this post by Robert macdougal in response to a fb post by darts news quoting the player from his posts on face book. Des described as a clown I think. But obviously player saying fake news.

Erm, who said Kleermarker spoke to a reporter?

"unhappy about Jacklin’s achievements, according to a couple of responses on Facebook."

Is he now saying he didnt put the quotes on Facebook? Bet there has been some hasty deleting going on ImageImage

On that last point we are not privy to any of the paperwork or dealings from before Des's time but I'd suggest it was in a right state.

I doubt he'll be giving dartsnews an interview in the future.

Yes, well done to Des for keeping a loss making event going without a sponsor because he is being strangled by a TV contract he claimed he negotiated himself, he is a business genius.

exactly, and, if he knew he was going to have to hold the event, why wait until this week to book a venue!!! Its crazy !

I mean, this guy is seriously lacking in basic business acumen. Running a bar and doing up and renting out flats does NOT make you a good business man necessarily.
So far he has proved his shortcomings.
