Take it you are not a subscriber of PDC.tv. Dan commentates on the live streams at both the PC and ET events.

Personally, I really like Dan as a commentator, however there is no doubt he is an acquired taste, and can understand those that don't like him.

As an aside, he is more than happy to get involved on Twitter, and unlike some other TV commentators, always conducts himself in a jovial but professional manner.

The spotter or cameraman has been disastrous. Never seen so many doubles being missed by a camera as i ve seen today.

I do watch the ET events, this weekend Dawson has been hyper, far more than normal.

Was a great final and in general what I saw a good weekend of darts. Good coverage also apart from the spotting/editing suite errors.

Crazy how players like Price and Wright just cannot beat MvG. The superpower of a world number one that is.

Well what a quality night of darts. Exciting.
It may be be a glorified exhibition (to some) but I really enjoyed it.

It is, but in all fairness MVG is at a different level to everyone else when it comes to the business end of the big matches. Whilst the rest feel the pressure against him, he uses that pressure as a positive force.

really enjoyed the tournament , felt for snakebite, what a missed chance to land his first pdc major, i think they should revert the trophy they had in previous year and not the belt for the winner !

Who cares what the trophy looked like really.
As soon as Wright missed those three darts to win it, there was only going to be one outcome.

Unbelievable
Only thing ‘major’ about it was the plastic jocks bowel movements.

whether we like it or not ,winning a TV darts comp on the BBC, with probably the biggest darts audience of the year, is going to be seen as darts major for both the players concerned and the press/commentators around the event.

Don’t worry Tubs, once the Indigo has been on the champions league will be long forgotten.
