One if des' supporters on fanatics . Maybe the team if ref's are seen as rebels (depending on their reason for resigning all together ).
Lots of companies see 4 or 5 people leave and the chairman doesn’t see the need to publicly tell everyone else they’ve left.
Granted, but most companies don't operate in the public eye the way the BDO allegedly do.
If, say, 5 Premier League refs handed their notice in on the same day, you'd expect some sort of public statement from Mike Riley.

That said, in my opinion Des is probably wise keeping quiet over this. Something has clearly gone on to prompt these co-ordinated resignations. Given Des is clearly not going to address that in public, it seems pointless him making any statement at all.

Besides, with a televised event just round the corner and no-one to officiate, he's probably got more pressing concerns.

its not about the reason here though it's the lack of a thank you of their service.
And in the context o sport a lot o chairman would thank outgoing staff, wouldn't they?

Unless these guys have done something 'bad' against the BDo or Des surely a professional person running an organisation like the BDO would simply thank them or their service and then mention folks lined up to replace them.

This is the key here with the Jacklins who's professionalism runs to screeching 'ASK THEM' as an acceptable reply

I believe the announcement was due yesterday, certainly there was an announcement of an announcement last week. Maybe give the BDO some leeway though as they have atleast announced the location of the masters for the next few years.
