How fickle are the UK darts crowds?

The guy's played great darts and suddenly they cheer for him. Absolutely ridiculous in my book, they're prepared to boo him for like 2 years and then just like that cheer for him because he's won a big tournament! Hopefully Ally Pally give him the boos he deserves, loathsome individual.

I personally like the opening rounds, with a shorter format and plenty of upsets, not quite so interested in the last 32, but the latter stages are absolutely lit! Can't wait for the big one to start!

Totally agree, I normally have to work in between Xmas n New year and miss loads but from 22nd to 4thJan it's my turn for holiday so I'm going nowhere this year when the darts is on

He won the Grand Slam without any of the crap that got him booed. So it's probably over now.
