Pretend there's virtually no chance of an event going ahead, and proclaim yourself the saviour when you cobble something together at the last minute to be held in a dilapidated former cinema somewhere in the darkest corner of in the valleys.

great tactic that folk often fall for. They do it in politics when someone doesn't do as bad as some are thinking but have still done bad.

Bdo will say the announcement last week made the playing contracts void and everyone had a chance to walk away. No money and no contract enforceable means nobody gets paid
