Don’t know if it’s already been posted but the prize money has now been confirmed as

BDO prize money
Men’s
Winner £23000
Runner Up £10000
Semis £5000
Quarters £4000
Last 16 £3000
Last 32 £2000
Last 40 £1500

Women’s
Winner £10000
Runner up £4500
Semis £2000
Last 8 £1000
Last 16 £500
Apologies for the cynicism, but what's your source?
Taken straight from the email sent to players. Nick Kenny posted it on Facebook also after they got his email wrong for the umpteenth time.

With crowd fund help woman’s prize fund is only 2.5k less than last year 29k bring 26.5k over 50% less then 54k promised

that means is shocking only 127k but being told being cut in half to 150k it’s even less but will any of it get paid

So the figures have now been copied from Nick Kenny's 'Facebook onto Fanatics... Justin Hood' s wife says her husband has received no email so they are finding out by that post.. She is not happy... Don't they put all participants on one group email ... Not hard.

Nick has been saying how rubbish they are with their emails for a few weeks now. Kept getting his wrong or not replying even though he sent it to them many times.

It’s just a farce how badly it is run. Feel sorry for those that travelled across the world to come and play for pittance.

So no reduction in prize money for first round lady losers who weren't able to even attempt a double..... quelle surprise.

A tenner for winning the ladies is it?

Would like to see what the full letter said tbh. It seems to be suggesting at the top of the first picture there that it went up!

So those losing in the first round of the ladies is the only round without any reduction. I wonder why?

Yeah the last few years the winner of the world youth got 10k and the runner up 5k can't see that happening.

Phil Haigh (of the Metro) on Twitter...

"Women's prize money actually better than expected but men's as low as worst predictions.

Jacklin says sponsors are interested and Eurosport are happy.

BDO player I spoke to gave an assessment of that... 'Full of shit'"
