Surely Des would not take credit for something which was not down to him. Similarly would never abdicate responsibility for decision which were.

He runs an exbo there every year. Maybe even two. Very good nights out by all accounts.

But lets be honest...running a one night exbo with 5 or 6 legends and/or PDC names is very different to filling the same venue for 16 sessions with womens, kids and j0bber games. Night and day.

He'd have more chance of filling it if he put the tickets on sale and promoted it though. Can't anyone over in the crazy world of the BDO see the bigger picture? Other issues can be sorted in the three month period, but it will all be for nowt if you don't sell tickets

Once the Masters is out of the way then they can get on with promoting and selling the 02 packages. common sense really, don't know why you lot are getting so flustered, is not as if many of you will go anyway.

Yes, the best chance of selling a brand new venue out will be to wait another month for an event being held in three months time, you heard it here first folks.

What a load of bollocks the players WILL NOT compromise the World Championship and that is not why the tickets are not on sale.
And if that’s what’s been said from the BDO, then they are lying......

all I know is Des the CEO of the BDO as he likes to put it, stood up at the AGM at the beginning of August and apparently told the members he had signed a long term deal with AEG for 10 years
( thats what I read on one of the sites )
Maybe Robert Macdougall or anyone at the AGM can confirm that!!
but if he did
How can that affect what’s happening now if he signed a deal back then.
Once you sign a deal you can then put it on sale straight away.
Put it this way
I’ve put a show on in February
Signed the deal end of June, tickets on sale a week later.

It has nothing to do with the players why the tickets haven’t gone on sale yet 1 million %
So anyone blaming them is talking out of he / she’s arse!!!

So it seems the actual reason is not the BDO chairman threatening players with expulsion from events (which he has been, btw, despite Waynes protestations), but some strange game of oneupmanship between Des and Wayne about who got the deal.

Does it really, really matter if Des took the credit at the AGM ffs? Yes he shouldn't have done, but we all know what he is like by now.

And yes Chris, that has already been posted. Keep up.
