nd so onto finals day today here in Sunny Bafra Northern Cyprus, my favourite day as I now get 2 days of chill time (well, except for the fact that I will have to do the Masters Draws tonight).

I think everyone now knows that Paula is responsible for this event and that it has nothing to do with me or the BDO (come on, I have to let her be my boss sometimes!!!) but credit where it’s due, She has Brough over 500 of you with us this year and with most already securing their place for next year I’m guessing we she smash the figures again.

On a personal note it’s been a bit of a struggle for Paula this past few weeks and no more so difficult this week, not only is she a mother to everyone that needs her but she also picks up on my issues with the BDO politics (and of course becomes involved being a target on social media), but after me and the rest of the board made finishing touches to the O2 deal late Friday I guess a weight was lifted, her game come back and she made the stage finals of the Cat A singles late last night.

She is now about to negotiate terms for next years event in this hotel so make the most of your social media adverting break while you can because come December you all just know Paula will be on with the new campaign haha, btw folks Torremolinos Darts Festival 2020 March 15th -22nd !!!!!

I will not mention everyone individually but a huge thanks to the Northern Cyprus officials , Sterling job xx

It’s been a testing time this past 6 months and you would just not believe what I have had to endure, I have put my Mrs through “hell” with my moods and uncertainty and believe me at times it has killed her game but I truly believe that we are through the toughest time and I’m really happy the way the company/organisation is now going.

ONE FINAL THOUGHT

I try to keep BDO and personal issue separate but sometimes that proves to be difficult, what I would say is this,,

No matter what you hear about the BDO, no matter Who know who “in the know” and gives you inside information ????

UNLESS YOU HEAR IT FROM ME, IT AINT TRUE!!!!!

If so is this to be taken that their releases or from the sponsor are not to be believed unless they are signed sealed and delivered by the hand of Des ?
