I, rather naively, rushed in and bought tickets for the Final. Is there any way I can return them or am I lumped with them? I expect I wouldn't even get a Fun-Sized Mars Bar for them on the ticket exchanges.

I was sold them on the basis that I was going to a World Championship, no some unsanctioned get together.

FOLLOWING RECENT discussions The British Darts Organisation are pleased to announce that Shownights have agreed to help assist with the upcoming BDO World Professional Darts Championships for the purpose of pushing ticket sales.

Shownights have and are a successful promoter of their own events held at IndigO2 and they have agreed to help promote ticket sales for our flagship event with immediate effect, using their database, social media platforms and contacts in and around the London area.

Wayne at Shownights said:

"We have agreed to try our best and help assist where we can at this late stage. The focus now for the sake of the players and fans alike is to have a successful event at the iconic IndigO at The O2, which we are sure will happen.

Tickets are steadily selling and we will help as much as we can to help keep this on track.

What I can say without a shadow of a doubt from experience of our own events is that the atmosphere will be amazing, the event team at IndigO2 are second to none and they will help create a Championships to remember."

The BDO World Professional Championship runs from Saturday 4th January through to Sunday 12th January. Tickets are available to purchase from as little as £26.50, with various packages available for every level of supporter to enjoy!

Last thing Wayne posted to ANY of the Shownights social media platforms was in the early hours of the 3rd.

So a whole week and nothing, and nothing since the above appeared on the BDO website. So in a word, pointless.

Use that line if they dont play ball, the credit card company pulling the money back will probably cost them more than doing a straight refund
