Is the "explosion" due today then?
word on the street is that there are major issues as the contract is not signed yet, only Heads of Terms.
Bit like Brexit really

Surely it wouldnt have gone on the o2 website if that was the case.

So you're saying it isn't going to happen?

Skybet currently going 33/1 that Article 50 is revoked before the end of December. So, Skewy, are you prepared to offer me the same odds that the Worlds at the o2, only a few days later, dont happen also?

So putting it out there, If the Worlds does not happen, or does not happen at the Indigo, should Des resign? Will he walk? Has events overtaken him that he had no control over? What would happen next? would England Darts step in? Would WDF? Or both working together.
I think BDO land is going to get very interesting soon as I predict this time next year the landscape will be very different.

there we go. Proves what I said. Deal still not signed..... Chris would know.
And I am still sticking to what I said a few months ago.. The worlds will be at Lakeside... I mean, Potter has even emailed out saying 'hey guys, the venue is still free, come and get us.. (again)'

No, his ego and pride would never allow him going cap in hand back to a venue he hates.

he would walk away I suspect . Which is why of course he really does have to get 02 sorted. And he still might, and we will never know how close it came to not happening.

Personally I think Dave is talking cobblers.
Still think he is?
Wayne d (who I think has gone quiet ) said contracts not signed, on a now deleted fanatic thread.

Would take what Wayne has to say with a pinch of salt tbh.

No, I wouldnt believe for one second that a reputable business like the o2 would put placeholders on its own sodding website if it wasnt all sorted.
