He started it all but he very nearly destroyed everything he created

A massive figure in bringing darts to mass TV audiences and despite his stoic views that nearly strangled the televised game in the early 90s he should be remembered for the important positive achievements he gave and brought to darts. RIP.

I’m not old enough to experience what went on at the time, but pretty obvious that he was a big player in the world of darts.

He didn't do this it was done by a sports promoter Mike Watterson who had close contacts with Embassy because of the snooker
