I’m not surprised by how optimistic the guesses are. The majority of the forum believes that there will be a huge surge in ticket sales in the next month.

I did, it's bad management, no proper advertising, spelling mistakes, charging more than the PDC one at a time when many tighten their belts, lost the loyal Lakeside regulars who don't know about other dart events (Lakeside was part of their new year routine), I presume Bob Potter has the contacts/database for Lakeside regulars, players that not known by many dart followers never mind the casuals.

Also BDO fanatics had what 10k or 20k members on facebook surely if your a fanatic you would be getting tickets no matter what. They would not be influenced by comnents here.

1. Is Des the right person to run the BDO?

2. Should they stop trying to compete with PDC, reduce prize funds etc to suit revenue?

3. Would you think it would be better to adjust the calendar so World Champs are played March/April time?
