I wouldn't rely on those red dots - the British Darts Organisation Invitational Rankings System rules on the website for 19/20 shows that the 'Majors' have points awarded.

I think the letter says folks can play bdo events. It mentions darts for all. No restrictions.

Aye I reckon this gets delayed until the start of the new season. At which point they will then bail out of the points for the 2021 edition
