Well the World Masters is the BDO's own event, so thats not in the scope of this....my understanding is that the BDO run the "World Championship" and pay a peppercorn amount to the WDF to do so. A grand a year or something ridiculously tiny.

funny part of this... i remember the belgians didnt want to pay anymore the tournament levy for WDF points...and now they have to pay for the BDO points...if...if the BDO still exist next year

Lots of tournaments stopped paying the WDF levy. England, Scotland, N Ireland, Belgium, Netherlands, USA and Australia all had very few if any adult WDF-ranked tournaments in 2019. Interestingly the Australians have made all their tournaments WDF ranked for 2020, along with the Scottish Open. I wonder if they knew which way the wind was blowing?
