Ian’s deflect is great

Let's give him the benefit of the doubt.

It's always possible he "knows a lot about what has been going on" and is making his mind up based on that.
It's possible that what he knows would "make us flip" or something.

“ In my estimation it feels like the BDO are trying to introduce a strategy to become self-supporting in trying to get ourselves into a position of stability, but we are not allowed to do that ? It just feels like every day is another battle with someone trying to kill the company.”

Woe is me!

What the fek has any of this got to do with him clearly breaking the rules!
No no no no there is no evidence of him breaking the rules, despite the draws being available for everyone to see.

Ignoring the prestige of events, the Turkish Open draws were a bigger scandal imo.
Yes, but didn't he get the Darts For Windows guy to take the fall for that by claiming there was a bug in the software? (even though this bug had never shown itself before, and no-one could replicate it afterwards, no matter how hard they tried).
He did. No idea why Roger backed him up on that, clearly didnt want to rock the boat.
I imagine the BDO pays a hefty whack for its DfW license.

Exactly.

The numbers could be "obscene"

paula was moaning at the masters..."she did loose to a no Name"...yeah, a swiss player who is the current european singles champion...the draw was a joke itself...why should the WDF speak after all that with the BDO who broke the rules...

Where has this figure actually come from? Saw it mentioned the other day as well.

I’m guessing someone made it up, it can’t be that much. :)

No, someone mentioned that as the figure as what they had left in the coffers. Someone else said £300k (about half the last known reserves).

I’m sure skewball said they had around £300k in the bank when their last accounts were submitted.

No-one but the BDO directors would know what’s in the bank now (and I bet not all the directors would know).
