Not sure if the letter is genuine or not, but a couple of things that are clear.

1) Des just wings everything, makes things up as he goes along, rarely consults anyone on his decisions and is recklessly cavalier with the BDO's cash to the point where it's nearly all gone.

2) Continuing to spaff the money away knowing that it will bankrupt the company is almost certainly a criminal act. I can see the BDO collapsing and Des doing some porridge as a result of his recklessness and stupidity. That will ruin his lovely, orange David Dickinson tan.

Well, yes.
Which is why Des has been allowed a free hand from Day 1.

the reason the letter was to be sent was to stop the directors possibly bankrupting the BDO but now it goes after the o2? what's the logic.

Unless, of course, the letter being leaked as caused some kind of response that has made the author back off?

Jacklin's biggest problem is that he tries to do too much for himself. He needs to hire more staff and distribute the workload.

It's not illegal if the person doing it is deluded.

Yes. The BDO need more expenditure. That will solve their financial oblivion. Thanks, Robson.

Can't think of anybody on here that would give up their time (or even 60%) to volunteer for a darts organisation.

No, I agree. Jacklin should have not run the World Trophy and instead invested the money into hiring people to reduce his workload. I'm not sure if that was possible, but it certainly seems a better strategy in retrospect.

I'm sure there would have been volunteers btw. The players could have helped a bit, surely.
