Andy Smith

Post by WizardofozFan »

The Pieman was a regular on our TV screens for a number of years, best friends with good old Terry Jenkins too wasn't he?

Any memories/interesting points of note about Pieman that we can all reminisce about?

No, he's annoyed by WoOF creating threads about players who were good for a while, but faded and are either retired, or should be.

He got kicked out of an all-you-can-eat buffet, or something.

Did he not fall off a stage or something at an exbo and was never really the same after that?

He should be fine, it's whatever he fell on top of that I feel sorry for.

True story :

My wife has a signed poster of Andy smith that she got from Blackpool (matchplay ). It was for some charity re deaf folk. You were expected to put a £5 in the bucket but she didn't realise that and put just a few coins in.

She still feels guilty.

Just trying to make the thread a bit more interesting.

He was from Southam in the West Mids.

Like all the others in this series his A game and consistency were found out by the improving standards of the PDC players.

Prediction for next thread - Mark Holden.

Same reason for demise applies.
