Best PDC World Final 2011-2020

With the end of the 2010s decade, thought it would be nice to reminisce about PDC World finals gone by from 2010 right the way through to 2020. Will run until the weekend.

So here goes....

No brainer really. Has to be the 2015 Final when Gary beat Taylor in the deciding set.

Lewis Ando for me - nine darter early on set the tone. Anderson was probably the best player in the event but Lewis was just awesome in the final.

Yes Gary hit 2 T20s and his 3rd T20 knocked the other two out for a no score. Still managed to win that set. Not the best advert for Unicorn that night.

Anderson-Taylor in 2015 was good but it dragged a little at times I remember. Very exciting towards the end though with the 9-dart attempt, 3 darts falling out etc.

Taylor-MVG in 2014 was one the crowd loved, the King vs. the King in waiting. Back-and-forth, big checkouts, last World title won by the Power.

But Wright-MVG edges it as it had absolutely everything and the best-of-order from the packed crowd.

Anderson Taylor my pick, just beating Taylor Mvg and this years final

The lighting was bad for the 2011 final. Can't pick that one.

The prize money wasn't as good for the 2012 one. Best rule that one out.

The viewing figures were down in 2014. We can forget about that one.

The averages were not that impressive in 2019. Put a cross through that one.

It really has been a weak decade for darts.

I would have to go 2015 (Anderson v Taylor) or 2017 (Anderson v MVG) as I was at both of them.
