Worry not peeps, Des has everything under control, is doing a great job and the BDO is moving forward.

More tales than Hans Christian Anderson.

Dear god. Exactly what everybody on the forum said what would happen: Des had done a great job.

And of course the promises for this year.

I'm not ashamed to admit that for a few days there I was becoming a little concerned about the future of the BDO.

Sorry for doubting you, Des.

All those promises from just over a year ago. If they fall for it again, more fool them.

I'm sure Eurosport were chuffed with comment upon comments slagging off the coverage.

Surely the bit about him cobbling £150k together in 5 days proves the Pages Lane money in the bank has gone.

They have well over £600k sat in the bank for years. Even shows in the May 2018 accounts.

May 2019 accounts due end Feb.

Lucky Des works 365 days a year... A little bonus is that he will get to work 366 days this year... What a martyr..

We are lucky to have Des.. Imagine what a state the BDO would be in without him.. He truly is a business genius.

Working every day you would think he would have time to answer questions that are sent to him but he's probably just too busy rounding up all those sponsors he said he'd got... Whatever happened to those by the way ?

All hail Des. The true saviour of the BDO....

PS

how can you tell Des is lying.... His lips are moving..

So the last person to get a winners prize less than Wayne Warrens World Professional was Jocky Wilson in 1989 very much a business on the up. And with this business genius in charge media company’s are fighting for a piece of this pie ( thinking Netflix maybe Apple) in a billion dollar bidding war. Sponsors jumping onboard with heavyweights like Coca Cola, McDonald’s and several roofing company’s coming onside too and the promoters like Don King and Colonel Tom Parker emailing with offers of help is just unbelievable.
The only possible reason for world domination and a true rival to Donald Trump failing is a load of keyboard warriors being negative. Jesus.

I take it from the meeting that is booked in for February the indigo isn't a sure thing for next year. Thought it had been put out there that the deal was for more than just a year.

What Des hopefully realises is that the BDO has nothing, and going from the other letter going around for the counties which he makes a claim that venues etc still need confirming for other events, it has nothing. So all these people wanting to speak to him are trying to cream money off them. It's being done aver and over again. Anyone he picks to work with has to have proper due diligence carried out.

They don't even know what players they have to go forward with and no backing from the Dutch or the WDF.

Think I'm used to it now, have slept for 18 out of the last 24 hours though.
