Nearly 300 players with an average of over 80 isn’t bad, but I think it shows how many dreamers are giving it a go.

In fairness, DBG did okay today, despite losing.

A 73 average? Very different to his tall tales from recent weeks.

Can't blame DBG for turning up and throwing over 70. He can obviously throw a dart but there are so many better it seems he's there to get on the challenge tour.

Quite. I'd give him a game with that average and I'm a pub player.

DBG's game today was a bit like the BDO world championship.

The way it was built up by many, youd expect total disaster, but it was nowhere near as bad a spectacle as predicted.

I won't pretend to know why DBG gets negative posts, but at least he's giving it a go. He didn't disgrace himself.

He is giving it a go and great credit to him. I, for one am hoping he does well.

That being said, and not withstanding my best wishes to him at Q School, he is a total knob on Social Media, and deserves every bit of criticism he gets.

A 73 average isn't bad.. Won't come close to winning a card but also shows he can throw a dart.

Some players in that list will get legs as some are decent enough players.. A lot I've never heard of either but if they want to pay their money then fair enough.. With the amount of players they are hardly going to skew the points table at the end of the day... I can think of better ways to spend money but it's their money and their choice... just like entering the Scottish or Dutch Open only a lot more expensive 😄
