Mitchell making short work of Menzies 5-0
Des Jacklin: ‘People say the BDO can’t compete with the PDC, but that is the biggest load of crap in the world’

God rest Alf Garnett and Prince Phil.

I used to love cycling but unfortunately I know a man who doesn’t like cyclists. :roadrage:

Not sure if the PDC can change the goalposts now though?
Entries will probably be down by about 60+ for the rest of t year they usually are after the first one.

Stu Wilson into the quarters first time he has achieved anything of note on the challenge tour.
Mayb thats cos this is his 1st time in it.
He played all of last year only making the last 64 once I believe.
I apologise lad. If its the same stu Wilson who plays for Preston SL team and lancs. I thought it was his 1st attempt in the ct this year

Fair play to Mitchell. Must have been disappointed not to have been able to get a card last week but has made an effort here and is likely to be able
to play on the pro tour.

Can imagine some will not be happy.
But you have to say that was some performance going through 12 hours of play almost to take the 2nd event.

Genuine question re Mitchell, can he still play bdo events after he has played in the pro tour? Or does that ban only count if he now gets into any televised events? I know tour card holders aren't allowed to play in any bdo events generally. Would be another big blow for the bdo if Mitchell became ineligible for their comps

And this is why I said there's nothing wrong with Q-school. If you're good enough, you can start earning a few quid in the Challenge Tour and get onto some of the PDPA events and from there possibly TV.

wasn't 12 of hours of play, he was out of event 1 early, so had 5/6 hours off to relax, waiting for event 2 to start.
