After reviewing the opening weekend of the 2020 season with the PDPA, the PDC has decided to stage the next four events of the year over three days, scheduled as follows:
Friday April 10 - Event Five
Saturday April 11 - Events Six and Seven
Sunday April 12 - Event Eight

Can see plenty skipping the Friday evening one then....

Still means a late finish on the Saturday.
With it being Easter weekend a few may be missing it.

Not the ambitious ones, or those who do not have kids to spend easter with.

I know you are being facetious but if any of the Challenge Tour players were fanatical church goers, they wouldnt be turning up on normal Sundays anyway :IIII:

Easter Sunday is always one of the busiest services. Some of the congregation only attend Christmas Eve and Easter Sunday.
So the other Sundays may not be so important.

If its the easter weekend does that not mean that people will have the Friday off?

Sensible move from my point of view. And if you don’t want to take time of work then tough shit if your not serious about wanting a PDC card then maybe you shouldn’t be doing the challenge tour anyway.

The way the calendar is going the pro tour is going is going to move mid week anyway (think porter said he wanted it to happen in the future) so can’t see people complaining if the odd challenge tour ends up on a Friday

Well I can but it will be the people complaining that the doc held a women’s qualifier mid week and then said nothing when the bdo held their women’s qualifier on a Monday

You mean that event where almost every woman had to either hang around all weekend for 3 days to play in it, or had to go home and then come back on the Monday? That one?

Don't understand what the scheduling of a ladies qualifier has to do with this issue.

Not everyone , before the stroke I’d probably be expected to work it . Anyone working shifts could be expected to work it.

Better cancel all Saturday and Sunday darts then just to be on the safe side and other darts players who work shifts cant get the time off Image
