The whole event purely as a TV event was far better on Sky at Bolton.. It just seem to pick up the atmosphere at the event perfectly on TV... Still decent thoughphil davies wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2020 9:15 pmOh yes no doubt. I was talking about TV viewing minehead is great for fans been their for the players champs and am going to that again this year.trotter01 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2020 9:10 pmAs an event it was far better in Bolton but I suppose it currently makes miles more money than it did then so the PDC will be well happy and I would imagine its a good weekend if you are therephil davies wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2020 8:07 pm Definetly better when it was all in one room in Bolton. Definitely still one of the best 5 TV events to watch though IMO.

I couldn't really care how much the pdc make as I dont get a cut of it, Bolton for me was better in pretty much every way.

Whilst I will enjoy the weekend immensely, I have two regrets when it comes to watching darts events live
One is never going to the Reebok, the other not going to the Circus Tavern for the PDC Worlds.
The Matchplay next on the agenda, another box ticked off. But at least I can still go to that one.

Winter Gardens one of the great darts venues. And in fairness, despite Blackpool being described as a shithole by some on social media. I have always found it a decent place to visit whilst you are at the darts.BlueSpark wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2020 9:57 pm Whilst I will enjoy the weekend immensely, I have two regrets when it comes to watching darts events live

Laid off from work till Monday so gonna try watch all this!
Hard to pick the winner but favourites on current form have to be Wright/Price/Durrant/Aspinall/Smith
MVG hasn’t had much luck here in recent years and looks to be at his lowest point for a long time after a string of defeats, needs to step it up this weekend!
