I think he is a great player but he is not a top player, whatever top player means.

Top 16 if he desires it, hard to put a number on it but ahead of chisnall, white et al and just below Wright, mvg, Anderson, price, Smith, gurney and duzza based upon big game (as in TV big stage etc.) ability and bottle.

Well I suppose if he ever plays well enough to get on the tour to even play against these boys then we might find out. Until then we can watch him get bombed out early in Challenger events, winning the odd one and wait and see.....

Edit - actually we shall indeed see him at some pro tour events so lets see if he is potential top 16.....

In all seriousness, he'll probably have a full year on the tour now, as long as he doesn't completely bomb the rest of the Challenge Tour season. I'd say he's roughly top 64 level, probably just inside. Gonna need to either top the CT OoM or win enough money to get into the top 64 at the end of the year to avoid having to go to Q-School, which is gonna be tough for him

I can see him slightly better up the rankings than the journeyman Darren Webster & the likes within a few seasons if he sticks at it, also if he sticks to a job he has less pressure on him to perform as darts isn’t his sole income ala waites style

Now that UK Challenge Tour players only have 2 Associate Member qualifying spots available for the European Tour events, that will be made even more difficult. Would need a Ratajski year to get a tour card.
