Day before the actual tournament starts, together with the home nation qualifier

I'd say he's roughly top 64 level, probably just inside. Gonna need to either top the CT OoM or win enough money to get into the top 64 at the end of the year to avoid having to go to Q-School, which is gonna be tough for him
Now that UK Challenge Tour players only have 2 Associate Member qualifying spots available for the European Tour events, that will be made even more difficult. Would need a Ratajski year to get a tour card.
Not nessacrily do well enough on pro tour to get yourself into PC finals and worlds decent run their and you’d be top 64.
You'd need around 55k to 60k to make the top 64..thats a tall order after 1 year for anybody.. The biggest thing would be to get into as many Euro events as possible but with only 2 spots available that's hard..

Was a bit skewed towards the British and Irish players though, 18 tour card qualifiers vs 6 for European tour card holders did seem harsh. The 2 spots for Associate qualifiers was a good idea in theory, though the execution of it was terrible, and the four HNQs were hideous at times

It did... Its not a bad idea having one big tour card qualifier for more spots the day before the pro tours though and I suppose if you threw associates in there it would be a big field.. but it does make it harder for associates to make the events.. Edhouse made a few last year which went a long way to him getting to Ally Pally

Absolutely, made £10k on the European Tour, didn't even make the Players Championship Finals which highlights how important the Euro Tour was to him. Don't think anyone will match that this year now that the path is that bit harder.

Shame for the likes of Nilsson and Koltsov that they couldn't do better on the Challenge Tour, because you'd think they'll make plenty of Euro Tour events given their regional pals have won tour cards

lol, just lol
Where would you rank him currently in a combined ranking list?

I think he is a great player but he is not a top player, whatever top player means.
Top 20 in the world. Maybe higher. Maybe lower.

Sure, but Darren Webster is coming off the back of a terrible year, he's ripe for a sharp tumble down the rankings

Depends on how much of the drop was the tennis elbow and whether it recurs.

For what it's worth, I think he'll do just fine in the PDC. He's a good finisher and his gamesmanship skills are second to none.

I just wouldn't get too carried away with his PDC performances when he's made four GSoD appearances and failed to reach the knockout stages even once. It's not that much better than Richie Rich or the Excellent Dude :)

Yeah their will probably be hardly anyone at these qualifiers. Can’t see many British players traveling to Europe to try to qualify.
Associate Member Qualifier 11, 12 and 13 are held in one weekend in Hildesheim. That might be worth to travel for the UK players.

They should definitely have had more than the one event at a time, how many Challenge Tour players can afford 10 separate jollies to Europe with just the two places up for grabs?

They should have thought of that before stumping up the £480 (?) for Q School.

Last year only 12 and 13 together. 11 was a week earlier.
But 7 and 8 and 9 qualifiers were also held over 2 days.

Does anyone have a detailed calendar for 2020?
