Darts Australia

Big shake up domestically in Australia, with DA aligning completely with WDF:

Interesting that they have put in a minimum of $1000 for winners both male and female in any of the 16 Grand Prix tournaments. Also Darts Connect will be used for all events going forward. I think it's safe to say that no BDO ranking points will be offered in Australia, and I'd be surprised if there was an Australian representative in the Mens BDO World Championship next year - if it happens!

Good move I think it’s odds on now that it won’t be played in its current guise welcome to the wdf championship at the hotel zuiderduin imo

These Gold Siver and Bronze WDF categories do now seem to be the way to go and it now seems pretty clear that ranked events will now go down this route..
It would seem to be the end for the BDO points now being worth anything and once the WDF officially announce their TV events then that's the end of the line for the BDO World Champs and Masters I'd say..
I wonder if the British Open and International Open will offer WDF points 😂

The Aussie events weren’t on the BDO calender in December. Assume they made the decision along with the Dutch
