Should there be more than 2 places available for the woman's worlds qualifiers?

Can Lisa Ashton play in the ladies qualifier as a tour card holder ?.. She is eligible for the PDPA qualifier if she doesn't get there through the pro tour rankings.

They're scheduled for the same day, as per last year, where it was the PDPA qualifier then the ladies'. If it's like any of the regional qualifiers, she'd be able to do both, although I don't think anything has been said about it, plus if she doesn't make it through the first qualifier, she might not be able to play at her best in the second one

Anyway, the Challenge Tour is a method of qualification, and the ladies could do both that and their own qualifier, so I'd imagine there's nothing stopping Ashton from doing both if she needs to

No. Not enough depth to merit taking away other places.
Better to provide extra opportunities and support during the rest of the year.
Also consider the random draw: Natalie Gilbert made the UK qualifier final.
