As "In the event that quarantine restrictions make it impractical for non-UK players to travel to the events, the PDC will announce a revised schedule of non-ranked events for the same dates". There only has to be one that cant travel and there surely will be at least one.
Porter already said they won't cancel it when 4 players or so can't play. When more than 10 can't they possibly will.

We ll see. Seems arbitrary to say the least.

And what about ranking money for World Matchplay qualification?

Prelude to the Matchplay inevitably being moved there.
Also why the originally touted World Snooker in mid July was changed to 20th June and moved from Llandudno to MK, again to free up dates there for WMP.
Matchroom basically commandeered the place for best part of a couple of months.

I dont think anyone can moan too much about that. Although I am sure someone will be along shortly to say moving the cutoff back a week is changing the goalposts etc.

I wonder if challenge tour players will be allowed to boost numbers to 128 ie Scott Mitchell

Being thick here, but how does that affect anything? What events are now included/excluded that weren't before?

Well none, because the 5 they are putting on are merely replacing 5 cancelled ones. But it wont stop someone moaning they put the cutoff back a week.

I agree, there is absolutely no chance a leg will be forfeited.

Potential for plenty of fines for failing to mark though.

Be a bit harder for players to scarper if they have to remain within the venue/hotel for 5 days, final day may get more "failures to mark " on that basis.

Most of these COVID tests for sporting events have come up with some positive tests.
I do wonder what will happen if that is the case in the 'bubble'
