Hatchet man may have been harsh, but he was just a run of the mill defensive midfielder (alongside another defensive midfielder in Bracewell that somehow won two championships in the mid-late 80s!) that would never have won player of the year had he been playing in Italy, Spain, France or Germany. It said everything about British football at the time that he could win such an award when Aguero has never won it once.

Pretty much. Some people are still stuck in the past. What is the point? The only interest I had in county darts this season was finding out that Glamorgan stuffed Lincolnshire the other week. Nice to see a win, even if it's a made up county name.

Do they mean:

1) Vale of Glamorgan? (Doubt it, it's too small and sparsely populated)
2) Mid Glamorgan (no longer exists)
3) South Glamorgan (see above) or
4) West Glamorgan (as above)?

What piece of crap said that? What an absolute asshole. Why should he be grateful for getting 23% of the promised prize money (has he even received it yet)? I love the irony of some of those comments too "foul language", "no dignity", etc. Has he not seen the posts of Des, Paula or their litter on Facebook?

Is the Fatman definitely brown bread? It's the kind of message he would type, without any thought to his own behaviour or comments. I had hoped that when he died, all the nastiness in the BDO would die with him, but nope, just like an Olympic torch relay, there's always someone ready to continue the journey, torch in hand heading from Colchester to Gainsborough.
