If that’s the best you can come up with after 4 hours it may be best to keep your hole shut.

720 men's entries
120 women's entries

Why are they not getting the equal prize money I keep hearing about?

Tbh that woman’s prize money is poor and men’s is top heavy I am sure they could have 1000/500/300/125/50 in the woman’s

Menzies has been recalled to the Scotland team this year. I also see that Robbie Green is dipping his toe in the BDO again!

I would say it’s generous considering the winner gets one third of what the men’s winner gets despite only having one sixth of the enteries and playing less to enter.

Isn't it great that there's no PDC ban any more?

Women:
Prize fund: 2370
Fees: 13 x 138 = 1794

Men:
Prize fund: 8180
Fees: 16 x 725 = 11600

The women's prize money is much more generous than the men's.

Last time I played in this I was a valiant 2nd round loser.

Long live the BDO. Long live proper darts. Long live the official body of darts. And long live the BDO die hards who defend the BDO on social media.

Yep, but I've come to expect that, sadly. The women are being subsidised by the men but the likes of Paulyboy will STILL complain that it is the women who are being treated unfairly.

Nah, I reckon they produced the poster before they decided to go for WDF points, and the SDA press statement they link to just emphasises the WDF point as it's not on the poster.
