Is that per day?
Bloody hell.
I remember that time well. I was living in London at the time and used to go and watch the London Knights.trotter01 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2019 10:53 am I agree that the easy part is getting venues... The hard part is funding it.. I remember the Manchester ice hockey team playing at Manchester Arena.. Fantastic venue.. virtually bankrupted them..
So I'm definitely interested in the sponsorship and how they fund the prize money and everything..

That's not bad for that size and they will be paying nowhere near that for a 9 day 10 year agreement.

I saw somebody who'd been to the AGM say you could bring your own food and drink.. Then hastily said they meant you could bring your own and eat and drink it outside the venue !!
Pretty sure you can do that anywhere in the world. I doubt that it is exclusive to the O2 Indigo.
I'd hope they're not paying anywhere near that or the ticket prices will be astronomical.nikkiboy wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2019 12:25 pmThat's not bad for that size and they will be paying nowhere near that for a 9 day 10 year agreement.
No, no, no, apparently he's just got a venue sorted without any of idea of how it's being funded.
At least you get it, shame about the other mush.rooms.
I find it odd that when anything goes wrong it's Des and when anything positive happens it's sporttotal.Zapp Brannigan wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2019 6:30 pm Still find it odd that when there is any problem in the bdo it’s sportotals fault as they have a contract stating they must make all commercial deals for the bdo and will take the bdo to court if they try break it again.
But then when things are announced that are good news its Des that’s done it all and sportotal had nothing to do with it...
Also if the bdo is getting all ticket sales back they have hired the venue so it would be interesting to see how much they have paid for it. Screams of new era hoping to make money back in sales all over again
