Its a bit later in the afternoon and being a bit of a fool I now realise my life has no purpose now a bullshitting narcissist has resigned as chairman of a dying minor darts organization.

Well at least now we have an answer to the question: what has des been working on for 80-100 hours a week.

His resignation rant!

He is accountable for every penny on his watch and that includes whatever state the finances are in today. He and the other directors will go down as the people who ultimately sunk the BDO. It may have been a dying horse but not sure it needed a full uzi clip emptied into it.

Debacle.

At this point I should be expecting a full apology from Paul James on this matter

I will duly keep the forum informed when I receive it

Derek Jacklin, Robert Macdougall and Martyn Moore have all resigned as directors of both the BDO and BDO Enterprises.

Frank Branscombe is currently the sole director of both companies.

Can Frank also resign? What happens in the event a company has no active directors?

Interesting to see Moore's resignation just getting posted as thought he resigned ages ago (and wasn't on any of the recent official correspondence). Must not have formally done it in which case he was technically still a director and should have been on the letterhead. A minor quibble in the scheme of things.

Surely directors have a degree of responsibility as to when the quit. To do it together leaves the ship rudderless.

He should do as it’s all his fault.

Yes, because a man who has been on the board before, and failed, is the answer to everything

How did he fail exactly?? Didn’t he resign before he could really do much?

Well thats the point. Did fek all. Also a player still so a massive conflict of interest straight away.

Plus nobody has actually given any satisfactory explanation as to how he can turn things around. As I said, whoever takes over will probably have to liquidate.

Obvious way forward:

individual nations taken over the county game.
bdo wrapped up but investigated.
wdf takes over in a real way of the top end of the bdo. Run the masters and world champs.
