So in one breath multi millionaire successful business man Des Jacklin advises us all not to proceed buying a property as the market is about to crash

and then in the next smug adventure he is out looking to buy more investment properties hmmm

oh and it's Paula & I not that I wish to point out he is uneducated & illiterate as he has already proven that beyond doubt with his past rants

And they voted this guy in, let that sink home for a moment, they actually voted for this idiot - including people who now want to run the new company they set up.

Someone used the phrase chicken coup, more like turkeys voting for more Christmases.

They are certainly not muppets and must truly believe the BDO is marketable”

It's now totally obvious that Des does indeed suffer from NPD.

Has anyone asked on fanatics what happens now to the Cyprus Open? Assuming international travel is possible then, obvs.

Is it still happening? If so, who runs it? The BDO or Des as a private promoter?

Suggest those few idiots who still support Des, read that post.

Ffs, has this man no shame. His tenure as BDO Chairman has seen that organisation degenerate into a complete laughing stock and on the verge of liquidation, yet he still finds it pertinent to boast about buying himself a new car, and offer financial advice. :omg:
People are dying around the world and he is disappointed for lack of tennis and vacation in "Marbs"???
What a fraggle...
Probably more worried about the fact he won’t be able to fleece more people of their money as the North Cyprus open won’t be happening

Again, this guy has no concept how the world of travel works.

Unless they have a separate arrangement, which I very much doubt, airlines will have been paid for well in advance. If it is cancelled at the last minute, there is no prospect of getting money back through themselves (they are not ATOL protected I guess) nor would a travel insurance provider recognise them as a bonafide travel company.

Hotels are another thing and can be cancelled usually for free up until 24 hours before.

Assuming they arent paying the hotel until just before, who presumably have given the organisers a fixed cost in Turkish Lira (thats is the currency of North Cyprus, yes?), isn't holding on to everyones money for months also a bit of a currency gamble? The hotel arent going to be changing their rate just because its gone up or down against the pound.

And do you honestly think Des is bright enough to understand any of that?
