Must confess I was one of those that had kinda wrote him off but as they say 'class is permanent'.

Part's one of the few players who can beat Taylor and win the tourney afterwards and has proved it again today; congratulations. And maybe he can finally try to settle down in the UK for a while like Simon to give his come back a real good try. this win's splendid for starters anyway!

Great to see Part back winning again. I think his knickname should be John "Lazarus" Part. Testament to the guys mental strength to be able to do what he does despite not being based in Europe. I bet there will be a few top sixteeners not relishing drawing him at the matchplay, none more than Taylor!!!! He really shows no fear whomsoever he is playing.
