I am interested to hear from our original group of product testers........... Who are still using Fit Flights? What are your opinions of the product now?

Come on guys, let's have your feedback!

Thanks.

Lee.
Well having returned to the slims (see above on my opinion of the pears) everything great till at 3-1 up at county on Sunday when i had a bounceout and snapped the stem!
So had to rush off and swap stems and flights to complete the match, i won't be too critical as i have broken 3 in total since i started using them, not ideal but VFM i guess stemwise.
Shame i can't use the pears though, i prefer the angle.

Great product, and I can't see myself going back to normal flights.

Lee, any news when the Super Kites are being released in he UK? I'd love to try them if you can get hold of any? ;)
Yes mate, I have some Super Kites, and some "W-Shape" flights coming soon so will send a set for you to try.

As I said above I'm showing no wear or tear on the original sets sent to me back in October.

Very impressed with the system.

I have in recent weeks been trying out the Cosmo "Spinning" stems.

Before using these I was very sceptical, as my past experiences of Spinning stems haven't been good.

The Spinning stems I had tried in years gone by were horrible things that rattled and felt really unpleasant to use.

I fitted the Cosmo Spinners to my darts and noticed that visually there was no discernable difference to the "Locked" Cosmo stems I was currently using.

I attached the Fit Flight, and immediately noticed that it sort of 'clicked' into place, where as the flights on a locked stem don't seem to fit as nicely as this.

Holding the barrel of my dart in my left hand, I 'flicked' the flight with my right hand to see how the flight moved on the stem. This was unlike the old fashioned Spinning stems I have tried in the past. On the old fashioned Spinning stems the flight would spin around like a windmill (I used to find this very off putting when using them in a game). But on the Cosmo Spinning stems the flight literally just moved out of the way - in fact it didn't 'spin' at all.

This felt a much nicer system already!

An important piece of information I was given when switching from Locked stems to Spinning is to use a new set of flights! This is because the flight 'stretches' slightly when fitted to the shaft, and on a Spinning stem this can cause the flight to spin more freely than it is designed to do. (Switching flights the other way is not a problem however.)

I intend to trial this system over the coming weeks and will report back with my findings, but all the signs are looking good at the moment!

I've found the spinners are better than the locked stems.

I have just taken delivery of Cosmo's first stab at Carbon Fibre stems

They only come in Carbon color IE grayish and slim.

They are light yet very strong and must admit they are quality!!!

Unfortunately they are just not for me (sorry Reina) :)

They do not stack like the normal locked stems, they kick up at around 18 degrees (perhaps its because they are lighter?)
which does not work for me, which is a shame tho as i reckon once u have bought these u will never have to spend another
penny on stems again.

They should never break (being Carbon) shouldn't bend slightly like most Nylon stems. So all in all a great product
again from those People at Cosmo!!!
