Been out of stems for some time now and have gone back to Progrip stems and Ruthless flights

I usually get sent a large box of different types, so should have some pears (teardrop shape in Cosmo’s world!) in there for you.

Have never tried Cosmo products but got a set of Fit flights from The Scorpion in Vegas and would be keen to try them if you send me a set of stems. Normally use short stems, and would be happy to provide a write up.

How long would you say the flights are supposed to last. the last set i bought were ripped all up one side after an hour of practice and to be honest it really put me off using them again.

I use a spinning carbon stem and Fit Flight AIR;

The stems have been in for two years and I get about two months use out of a set of flights.

My personal opinion is that if you are looking for durability, and want the flights to last, you really need to use a spinning stem.

The fixed/locked stems leave the flight with nowhere to go when hit with an incoming dart - and will cause them to rip/tear - usually from the bottom of the flight (the incoming flight acts as a razor and literally slices the flight on the dart in the board.

A spinning stem is perfect, as the flight on the dart in the board literally moves out of the way when an incoming dart flight hits it.

Very, very strange. To confirm, you were definitely using Spinners?

Post us a picture showing the damage and we may have a few clues.

if your dart have a "flat nose" it will wear down the flights faster, I recomend that you use Target StormPoints (smooth version)
