With the voting coming up soon and the pot constantly increasing over the past few weeks, I would also like to thank everyone who has contributed to this and commend you all on a truly great cause.

I don't want this to seem like a promotional spin but like Matt Edgar said, this can truly change the life of someone and any player who is voted worthy of the pot should be truly grateful, I know I would be.

You only have to look at the players you have backed in the past to show that you all have an eye for talent so it will go to a worthy candidate. I also hope that this fund will go to someone who doesn't have any other major sponsors so that it does help someone who needs it, rather than contributing to a player who already has backing elsewhere.

Just a quick run down of how the voting will work.

There are currently 12 players on the list and voting will begin on the 25th June. The first vote will cut the list from 12 or more (should any other players come forward) to 8.

I hope to get everyones vote on the same day (will chase people if I haven't received them) so that the 8 can be announced on that evening. The next round of voting will commence the following day.

26th June, second round vote, this will cut the field of 8 to 4.

27th June, third round vote cutting the 4 to 2.

28th June final vote and winner announced.

Remember you get 4 votes for each £20 share you have. There are currently 3 oddities, I lost a bet to nikkiboy and deetee who I bought a share for £10 each so 2 votes to you (excluding any other shares you may have bought), and Daisy Mac who's cheque was for £25, so 5 votes for him.

You may cast multiple votes for different players if you so wish on any of the voting rounds.

You must send your votes to both myself and skewball for varification, when you send a pm there is an option on the left of the screen to cc someone

good to know how the vote is progressing.. but I wonder in the first round just post the top half who get through? Wouldn't like to knock a players confidence if they get 0% of the vote - esp as we're pretty good at spotting good-uns!
