Maybe i am, i'll look into it but i was told if you have an income and a certain level of savings you couldn't.

Surely you told them they're wrong. You know it all after all.

So how exactly am i a sponger?

I fecking hate accountants calling people spongers
They say to you privately I will save you money.

17 million people made this decision not me, democracy has won be it right or wrong.
I was happy to vote out, i am still happy i voted out and lets look at where we are, the shock effect has worn off, the BOE didn't need to adjust interest rates (this is actually an incredibly telling thing) the EU continues to implode and countries are lining up to negotiate trade deals and announce there will be no issues with trade post brexit.
It's all rosey in the garden, the doomsayers look like fools because non of the apocalyptic events have happened and because they are still crying and whining like children, it's great.

You will in time, wait until your benefits get cut.....then you'll be moaning.

Looking very good for the future, lots of uncertainty means OEMs are keeping the work in-house, business is booming in the UK, well done to the 17 million sensible souls xxx

-What abou' Brexit?
-Ah, fek off - please.
-No - come on. Brexit - .
-Can we talk abou' Trump instead? At least tha' fraggle has a face.
-A chap on the radio this mornin' said it's the most important day since Dunkirk.
-Wha'?!
-So he said.
-Who?
-Didn't hear his name – an economist.
-The fekkin' eejit. Can yeh see the economists runnin' onto Omaha Beach, into enemy fire? Band o' brothers me hole.
-Tha' was D Day. He said Dunkirk. The retreat, like.
-Same thing - backwards. I'll tell yeh but.
-Wha'?
-When yeh hear things like tha' – spoofers on the radio an' the telly. You can be sure o’ one thing. They haven't a clue. An' when yeh hear fekkin’ Enda Kenny sayin' that Ireland will be negotiatin' from a position o' strength, you know for certain we'll be negotiatin' from a position in a galaxy far, far away. And when they use words like 'frictionless' an' 'seamless' to describe the new border, you can tell for a fact tha' the border will be a solid wall with razor wire an' fraggles with rifles. It's goin' to be the worst kind o' nightmare.
-What's tha?
-A borin' one

At least three were done before the UK joined the EU, the smoking ban has bugger all to do with the EU either, the lightbulb stuff is due to the Kyoto protocol, and yeah lets bring back pre-decimal currency to confuse everyone!

You say the think people of the UK ginge but in these type of surverys it is not them that pose the questions, it's the silly sod who thought that these were pertinent topics that you should divert your anger toward.

Obviously the questions were asked to get the conclusion that people are thick.

Then your assertion in your above post is based upon a lie :)

The one thing that has annoyed me more than anything on Brexit and the media is that stupid bint on Newsnight who asks a question and just as the interviewee is giving a proper and informed answer interrupts them and pulls the conversation toward the headline grabbing stupid quote of the day. She should be sacked.

Yes 2000 folk represent the views of 34 million :)
It's obviously not serious, probably tacked onto a serious one and someone posted it for entertainment value though of course many believe in corporal punishment and the death penalty, also smoking in pubs, why not, it's not as if smoking is proven to cause cancer.

Anyway, trivialities aside WE ARE GETTING OUT, the whiners and whingers can now turn into the "i told you so" brigade for the rest of their miserable tortured lives, great stuff.
We have our country back.

Those energy savers are rubbish, by the time they illuminate enough you've already cracked your shin
