Those energy savers are rubbish, by the time they illuminate enough you've already cracked your shin

:)

The new LED ones are brilliant, had the kitchen done out with just two LED fittings and they are brighter than the old 2 x flourescent tubes used to be, instantanious light too. The problem arises that some show the brightness in watts, some in lumens and it confuses the hell out most people.

I used to get the energy savers free as I worked for GE, ended up binning them.

Imagine it sailing into Santander harbour with Nigel Farage on the bow waving his sabre and shouting "charge"

The French would probably surrender just in case closely followed by the italians then finally the Spanish

interesting.
Labour will be happy as they can get rid of Corbyn quicker.
Liberals will be in heaven as can go for the real big anti Brexit vote. Whatever happens expect their vote to rocket.
SNP will be worried as anti Indies will use it as a protest vote so they could lose seats.
Interesting times

Quite clever really, May knows labour will have to dump Corbyn and when they do his supporters will be put out and a lot will become disillusioned at the cynical nature of it.

They might at the very worst lose a couple of seats to the tories, that will be it though.

The snp have Scotland sown up at the moment.

All seems pretty good right now, still can't see a recession yet, could that have been a lie to get gullible people on board?

Nope and when we leave we'll see a lot of this negative shite disappear.

We are no where near leaving yet but already things are starting to slow, I wish I could be as upbeat as you two about it but common sense dictates. Looks like we won't be going down the hard brexit route which is a shame as we will still have to pay huge sums in and have no actual say in how things are run.....if this is the case we may as well have remained.

Looks like Brexit is now well and truly fuuucked. Idiot government trying to offer NI a deal that effectively meant them staying in the single market/customs union. This government could not run a tap.
