Fergie Retires
Fergie Retires
Total legend of the game. Surely Moyes will be the new boss?

I am struggling to contain my sense of indifference
Not a football fan but he has some record, doubt if anyone else would be as successful ever

No chance on Mourinho. It will be Davie Moyes
Re: Fergie Retires
I know Fergie loves Moyes but I would be very surprised. Mourinho has just gone fav with the bookies aswell.Col wrote:No chance on Mourinho. It will be Davie Moyes
Let's face it he doesnt want to be at Madrid and they screwed him over at Chelsea so its a no brainer for me. United all the way.

Tricky one. A few have mentioned Moyes but think he will struggle early on but may be good for the long term. The worry with Jose is that he is a short term, quick fix manager and United fans don't want that. But they also like the excitement of someone like Mourinho and would keep the buzz going at Old Trafford. Whoever it is will have to hit the ground running!nikkiboy wrote:who is the fan's favourite?Dan1987 wrote:Not if you have a mssive ego, are someone who loves a challenge and let's face it this is the biggest challenge of all...nikkiboy wrote:you have to ask, who the hell would want the job? a poison chalice surely?

Point made on Radio 5 that Mourinho was terribly gushing in his paraise of Man U after his team knocked them out of Europe - something he'd never done before.

Not really sure I could tell the difference between him and some other manager. Darts is my only sport, however, its all the talk at work and therefore I am forced to know what is going on with him.

Would have to hit the ground running < Well yes you were right in such and was expected this.Dan1987 wrote:Tricky one. But now its 2016 and end of season nears I seen what happened with Moyes and that's he wasn't given near enough time
he also walked into that job without money ..and taking over a team in which he wasn't getting the say in whom he would play
( Basically in running the football side of the club at Man u )
and the board at Man u never gave the guy a chance as he was hung out to dry from the off..
Id now like to see Moyes at Celtic park
but he shall only come only IF allowed his own in with him ..men he trusts to come with him
and left to pick his team by himself and not having the Celtic board
dictate the football side of things ..as had happened with Delia although Delia wasn't management material for such a big club.
Moyes now has some experience and with his own men with him that he trusts and knows well
I reckon that would be the best move this board could make although ive doubts they shall
WHY ? because money is their sole motive and they shall also want a Yes man as manager and ive a sneaky
feeling < maybe wrong but I feel Lambert leaving Blackburn just the other day has me thinking the board
have possibly got him in their minds and who knows but for me he is a no no .
