England's first match will be at 2am on a Sunday night/Monday morning unless they swap it with the Costa Rica v Uruguay match. Common sense says they will do for TV purposes.

Can't swap the time of the match due to temperature and humidity - even at the late start time it will be very unbarable for both teams.

Common sense would be to switch the venue, so both teams don't have to fly 9000 miles to play a game in the mid 30's C and 90% humidity only to fly back after.

They could swap times, other matches are played in Manaus later in the event earlier in the day.

Times were changed in 2002. The England/Sweden match at 2.30pm local time in Japan was swapped with the Argentina/Sweden match at 6.30pm local time.

So it's not as if it hasn't happened before. FIFA aren't thick, English and Italian TV rights holders have more clout that Costa Rican and Uruguayan broadcasters.

Great News. Shocked that common sense prevailed.
